नौत्पातपरित्यक्तः कदा चिदपि चन्द्रजो व्रजत्युदयम् । जलदहनपवनभयकृद्धान्यार्घक्षयविवृद्धौ वा ॥ ७-०१ ॥
Mercury (budha) never reappears after his conjunction with the sun without upsetting the existing order of things: he causes fear from flood, from fire and from storms and paralizes trade by abnormally enhancing or lowering the price of food grains.

nautpAtaparityaktaH kadA cidapi candrajo vrajatyudayam । jaladahanapavanabhayakRddhAnyArghakSayavivRddhau vA ॥ 7-01 ॥
