यद्यमोघकिरणाः सहस्रगोर् अस्तभूधरकरा इवौच्छ्रिताः । भूसमं च रसते यदाअम्बुदस् तन्महद्भवति वृष्टिलक्षणं ॥ २८-१८ ॥
If at the time of sunset, the white straight rays or the Sun should shoot out as if they formed so many outstretched arms of the Western Ghats and if clouds about the horizon should then begin to roar, there will be abundance of rain.

yadyamoghakiraNAH sahasragor astabhUdharakarA ivaucchritAH । bhUsamaM ca rasate yadAambudas tanmahadbhavati vRSTilakSaNaM ॥ 28-18 ॥
