पौरन्दरे अतिशूराः कुलवित्तयशो अन्विताः परस्वहृतः । विजिगीषवो नरेन्द्राः सेनानां चापि नेतारः ॥ १५-१६ ॥

Those who are born on the lunar day of Jyeṣṭhā will be valiant, of good descent, wealthy, famous; disposed to cheat others of their property, fond of travelling, rulers of provinces or commanders of armies.

मूले भेषजभिषजो गणमुख्याः कुसुममूलफल वार्ताः । बीजान्यतिधनयुक्ताः फलमूलैर्ये च वर्तन्ते ॥ १५-१७ ॥

Those who are born on the lunar day of Mūla will be druggists, heads of men, dealers in flowers, roots, fruits and seeds; will be rich and will delight in garden work.

mUle bheSajabhiSajo gaNamukhyAH kusumamUlaphala vArtAH । bIjAnyatidhanayuktAH phalamUlairye ca vartante ॥ 15-17 ॥

आप्ये मृदवो जलमार्गगामिनः सत्यशौचधनयुक्ताः । सेतुकरवारिजीवकफलकुसुमान्यम्बुजातानि ॥ १५-१८ ॥

Those who are born on the lunar day of Pūrvāṣāḍha will be of gentle manners; fond of sea-voyage, truthful, cleanly and wealthy; will delight in earth work; will be boatmen; will be dealers in fruits and flowers of water.

Apye mRdavo jalamArgagAminaH satyazaucadhanayuktAH । setukaravArijIvakaphalakusumAnyambujAtAni ॥ 15-18 ॥

विश्वेश्वरे महामात्रमल्लकरितुरगदेवता सक्ताः । स्थावरयोधा भोगान्विताश्च ये तेजसा युक्ताः ॥ १५-१९ ॥

Those who are born on the lunar day of Uttarāṣāḍha will be chief ministers or wrestlers; will keep elephants and horses, will be religious; will be men of principles; soldiers; happy and of bright appearance.

vizvezvare mahAmAtramallakarituragadevatA saktAH । sthAvarayodhA bhogAnvitAzca ye tejasA yuktAH ॥ 15-19 ॥

Those who are born on the lunar day of Śravaṇa will be cunning, of active habits, efficient workmen, bold, virtuous, god-fearing and truthful.
