छायां महाभूतकृतां च सर्वेऽभिव्यञ्जयन्ति स्वदशामवाप्य ॥ क्वम्बवग्निवाय्वम्बरजान्गुणांश्च नासास्वदृक्त्वक्छ्रवणानुमेयान् ॥ ८-२१ ॥
Having obtained one’s dasha consisting of the gunas and earth, water, fire, air, and ether; all those cause manifestation in their likeness accomplished by the five gross elements from what is to be inferred from the nose, mouth, eyes, skin, and ears.
