दशासु शस्तासु शुभानि कुर्वन्त्यनिष्टसञ्झास्वशुभानि चैवम् ॥ मिश्रासु मिश्राणि दशाफलानि होराफलं लग्नपते: समानम् ॥ ८-१९ ॥

sanskrit

When the dashas are the best, the benefics perform and when they (the dashas) are termed Anishta, the malefics (perform). Thus, those dashas when mixed, the mixed (perform). The results of the lagna are similar to the lord of the lagna.

english translation

dazAsu zastAsu zubhAni kurvantyaniSTasaJjhAsvazubhAni caivam ॥ mizrAsu mizrANi dazAphalAni horAphalaM lagnapate: samAnam ॥ 8-19 ॥
