स्वतुङ्गचक्रोपगतै स्त्रिसङ्गुणं द्विरुत्तमस्वांशकभत्रिभागै: ॥ इयान्विशेषस्तु भदत्तभाषिते समानमन्यत्प्रथमेऽप्युदीरितम् ॥ ७-११ ॥
By them being in one’s own exalted and retrograde position, ॥ the length of life॥ is multiplied by three. With them being exalted, in one’s own portion (vargottama), zodiac sign or dreshkana, ॥ the length of life is multiplied॥ by two. But the distinguishing factor of these (conditions) are the same and also different as said before in the words of Bhadatta.

svatuGgacakropagatai strisaGguNaM dviruttamasvAMzakabhatribhAgai: ॥ iyAnvizeSastu bhadattabhASite samAnamanyatprathame'pyudIritam ॥ 7-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकिन्न्वत्र भांशप्रतिमं ददाति वीर्यान्विता राशिसमं च होरा ॥ क्रूरोदये चोपचय: स नात्र कार्यं च नाब्दै: प्र थमोपदिष्टै: ॥ ७-१२ ॥
