पितृमातृगृहेषु तद्बलात्तरुशालादिषु नीचगै: शुभै: ॥ यदिनैकगतैस्तु वीक्षितौ लग्नेन्दू विजने प्रसूयते ॥ ५-१६ ॥

sanskrit

One is born in the houses of the father and mother from the strength of those (planets). With benefics situated in debilitated place, ॥ one is born॥ at the base of trees, etc. But if the lagna and the Moon are not aspected with them (benefics) situated in one place, one is born in a deserted place.

english translation

pitRmAtRgRheSu tadbalAttaruzAlAdiSu nIcagai: zubhai: ॥ yadinaikagataistu vIkSitau lagnendU vijane prasUyate ॥ 5-16 ॥
