उदयति मृदुभांशे सप्तमस्थे च मन्दे यदि भवति निषेक: सूतिरब्दत्रयेण ॥ शशिनि तु विधिरेष द्वादशेऽब्दे प्रकुर्यान्निगदितमिह? चिन्त्यं सूतिकालेऽपि युक्त्या ॥ ४-२२ ॥

If during impregnation, the lagna rises when Saturn is situated in the seventh house in the portion of the house of Saturn, within three years a birth will occur. But when the Moon, this rule should be accomplished in twelve years.

english translation

udayati mRdubhAMze saptamasthe ca mande yadi bhavati niSeka: sUtirabdatrayeNa ॥ zazini tu vidhireSa dvAdaze'bde prakuryAnnigaditamiha? cintyaM sUtikAle'pi yuktyA ॥ 4-22 ॥
