गुरुरुडुपतिशुक्रौ सूर्यभौमौ यमज्ञौ विबुधपितृ?तिरश्चो नारकीयांश्च कुर्यु: ॥ दिनकरशशिवीर्याधिष्ठतात् त्र्यंशनाथात् प्रवरसमनिकृष्टास्तुङ्गह्रासादनूके ॥ २५-१४ ॥
From lord of the drekkana presiding over of the stronger of the Sun or Moon; Jupiter, the being should be created from the divine; the Moon and Venus, the being should be created from the ancestors; the Sun and Mars, the being should be created from the animal; and Saturn and Mercury, the being should be created from the hells. From lord of the drekkana presiding over of the stronger of the Sun or Moon; from the decline of exaltation the life of being was best, middling, and worst in the previous birth.
