होरानवांशकप्रयुक्तसमानभूमौ योगेक्षणादिभिरत: परिकल्प्यमेतत् ॥ मोहस्तु मुत्युसमयेऽनुदितांशतुल्य: स्वेशेक्षिते द्विगुणितस्त्रिगुण: शुभैश्च ॥ २५-१२ ॥

In the place like that joined to the lord of navamsha lagna with the yoga, aspect, etc. from that is that loss of consciousness to be calculated. The time of death is the unrisen portion (of the rising navamsha). When aspected by one’s own ruler the time until death is doubled. When aspected by benefics the time until death is tripled.

horAnavAMzakaprayuktasamAnabhUmau yogekSaNAdibhirata: parikalpyametat ॥ mohastu mutyusamaye'nuditAMzatulya: svezekSite dviguNitastriguNa: zubhaizca ॥ 25-12 ॥
