बृद्धो मूर्ख: सूर्यजर्क्षेशके वा स्त्रीलोल: स्यात्क्रोधनश्चावनेये ॥ शौक्रे कान्तोऽतीवसोभाग्ययुक्तो विद्वान्भर्ता नैपुणज्ञश्च बौधे ॥ २४-११ ॥

When related to the Moon (in the zodiac signs or in the portion (navamsha) of the Moon) situated in the 7th house, ॥ a female’s husband॥ is tender and under the influence of lust. When related to Jupiter (in the zodiac signs or in the portion (navamsha) of Jupiter) situated in the 7th house, ॥ a female’s husband॥ is possessed of good qualities and has a subdued sense. When related to the Sun (in the zodiac signs or in the portion (navamsha) of the Sun) situated in the 7th house, ॥ a female’s husband॥ is very tender and doing a lot of work.

When the lagna is with the Moon and Venus, a female is possessed of envy and fond of comfort. When the lagna is with Mercury and the Moon, a female is skilled in the arts, delighted, and rich in virtues. When the lagna is with Venus and Mercury, a female is knowledgeable in the arts, beloved, and beautiful.

When there is a malefic in the 7th house there is widowhood is indicated of which the portion (navamsha) of the lord of the 8th house is situated, in the period of that. When similar (to that condition just mentioned) when benefics are situated in the 2nd house indeed is one’s own husband’s death. When Saturn is with mediocre strength, with the Moon, Venus, and Mercury destitute of strength, and with the remaining (the Sun, Mars, and Jupiter) endowed with strength, and if the rising zodiac sign (lagna) is odd, a female has sexual intercourse with the body (used in a negative sense). When Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury are strong, the zodiac sign of the eastern lagna is even; a female is famous on the earth, skillful in many manuals, and also in expounding the Vedas.
