कल्याणरूपगुणमात्मसुहद्दृकाणो चन्द्रोऽन्यागस्तदधिनाथगुणं करोति ॥ व्यालोद्यतायुधचतुश्चरणाण्डजेषु तीक्ष्णोऽतिहिंस्त्रगुरुतल्परतोऽटनश्च ॥ २१-६ ॥
The Moon in one’s own or a friend’s drekkana, produces good qualities and a beautiful form. The Moon situated in another, produces the qualities of the lord of that (meaning if in a neutral drekkana, the previously mentioned results are mediocre and if in an enemy drekkana, the previously mentioned results are non-existent. The Moon in a snake, having an uplifted weapon, quadruped, and bird (drekkana); produces pungence, abundant mischief, delighted in the wife of a teacher, and wandering, respectively.
