सौम्ये वीर्ययुते तनुयुक्ते वीर्याढ्ये च शुभे शुभयाते ॥ धर्मार्थोपंचयेष्ववशेषैर्धर्मात्मा नृपज: पृथिवीश: ॥ ११-१६ ॥
When Mercury is joined to strength in the lagna and when a benefic is abounding in strength is situated in the 9th house; with the remaining (planets) in the 9th, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 11th houses; a virtuous lord of the earth is born from royalty.

saumye vIryayute tanuyukte vIryADhye ca zubhe zubhayAte ॥ dharmArthopaMcayeSvavazeSairdharmAtmA nRpaja: pRthivIza: ॥ 11-16 ॥
