अर्थाप्ति: पितृपितृपत्निशत्रुमित्रभ्रातृस्त्रीभृतकजनाद्दिवाकराद्यै: ॥ होरेन्द्वोर्दशमगतैर्विकल्पनीया भेन्द्वर्कास्पदपतिगांशनाथवृत्या॥१०-१॥

Acquisition of wealth is from the father, father’s wife, enemy, friend, brothers, wife, and servant by the Sun, etc. situated in the 10th house from the lagna or the Moon. Those are to be ascertained by it abiding with the lord of the navamsha that is situated with the lord of the 10th house from the lagna, the Moon, or the Sun.
