Brahma Sutras
ॐ पूर्वं तु बादरायणो हेतुव्यपदेशात् ॐ ॥ ३-२-४१॥
But Badarayana considers the earlier One (viz., God) (as the bestower of results), because He is mentioned as the cause of even action.
