यज्ञे तपसि दाने च स्थितिः सदिति चोच्यते । कर्म चैव तदर्थीयं सदित्येवाभिधीयते ॥ १७-२७॥
Steadfastness in sacrifice, austerity and gift, is also called 'Sat' and also action in connection with these (or for the sake of the Supreme " Paramaatma ") is called 'Sat'.

यज्ञ, तप और दानरूप क्रियामें जो स्थिति (निष्ठा) है, वह भी 'सत्' -- ऐसे कही जाती है और उस परमात्माके निमित्त किया जानेवाला कर्म भी 'सत्' -- ऐसा ही कहा जाता है।
