भीष्मद्रोणप्रमुखतः सर्वेषां च महीक्षिताम् । उवाच पार्थ पश्यैतान्समवेतान्कुरूनिति ॥ १-२५ ॥
In the presence of Bhisma, Drona and all other chieftains of the world, Hrsikesa, the Lord, said, Just behold, Partha, all the Kurus who are assembled here.
english translation
भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने दोनों सेनाओं के मध्यभाग में पितामह भीष्म और आचार्य द्रोण के सामने तथा सम्पूर्ण राजाओं के सामने श्रेष्ठ रथको खड़ा करके इस तरह कहा कि 'हे पार्थ! इन इकट्ठे हुए कुरुवंशियों को देख'।
