उक्तेयं कर्मयुक्तानां मतिर्यान्तेऽपि सा गतिः । न चोक्ता योगयुक्तानां मतिर्यान्तेऽपि सा गतिः ॥२६॥
It has been said that the destiny of those devoted to action is the same as their thought at the end, but it has not been said that the destiny of those established in yoga is the same as their thought at the end.
english translation
ukteyaM karmayuktAnAM matiryAnte'pi sA gatiH | na coktA yogayuktAnAM matiryAnte'pi sA gatiH ||26||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptया गतिः कर्मयुक्तानां सा च वागिन्द्रियाद्वदेत्। योगिनां या गतिः क्वापि ह्यकथ्या भवतोजिता ॥२७॥
The destiny of the followers of action can be described by the organ of speech; but the goal of the yogis is inexpressible, because it is not an object to be acquired.
english translation
yA gatiH karmayuktAnAM sA ca vAgindriyAdvadet| yoginAM yA gatiH kvApi hyakathyA bhavatojitA ||27||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं ज्ञात्वा त्व मा योगिनां नैव कल्पितम्। विकल्पवर्जनं तेषां स्वयं सिद्धिः प्रवर्तते ॥२८॥
Knowing this, one never says that the yogis have any particular path. For them it is the giving up of all duality, The supreme attainment comes of itself.
english translation
evaM jJAtvA tva mA yoginAM naiva kalpitam| vikalpavarjanaM teSAM svayaM siddhiH pravartate ||28||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थे वान्त्यजगेहे वा यत्र कुत्र मृतोऽपि वा। न योगी पश्यते गभ परे ब्रह्मणि लीयते ॥२९॥
No matter where a yogi may die-whether it be in a holy place or any other place-he never again enters into a mother's womb. He merges into Supreme Brahman.
english translation
tIrthe vAntyajagehe vA yatra kutra mRto'pi vA| na yogI pazyate gabha pare brahmaNi lIyate ||29||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसहजमजमचिन्त्यं यस्तु पश्येत्स्वरूपं घटति यदि यथेष्टं लिप्यते नैव दोषैः । सकृदपि तदभावात्कर्म किञ्चिन्नकुर्यात् तदपि न च विबद्धः संयमी वा तपस्वी ॥३०॥
He who has realized the Self, which is innate, unborn, and inconceivable, is not contaminated by any evil, even if he acts in whatever way he likes. And once he is free from ignorance, he cannot perform any action. For that reason the self-controlled mendicant is never bound.

sahajamajamacintyaM yastu pazyetsvarUpaM ghaTati yadi yatheSTaM lipyate naiva doSaiH | sakRdapi tadabhAvAtkarma kiJcinnakuryAt tadapi na ca vibaddhaH saMyamI vA tapasvI ||30||
