Astanga Hrudaya
वैद्ये दूता मनुष्याणामागच्चन्ति मुमूर्षताम् । विकार सामान्य गुणे देशे कालेऽथवा भिषक् ॥ ७ ॥
such a man is the messenger of a person who is going to die. Inauspicious events observed on the basis of similarity between patient and messenger: The physician should not treat the patient whose messenger is similar to the sick person (suffering from the diseases).

vaidye dUtA manuSyANAmAgaccanti mumUrSatAm । vikAra sAmAnya guNe deze kAle'thavA bhiSak ॥ 7 ॥
