वितत्य पर्शुकाग्राणि गृहीत्वोरश्च मारुतः । स्तिमितस्यातताक्षस्य सद्यो मुष्णाति जीवितम् ॥ १०८ ॥

Vital signs related to abnormalities of vata: Maruta (vata) causing expansion of the tips of the ribs, catching pain in the chest, loss of movement of the chest and wide opened eyes is going to kill him immediately.

vitatya parzukAgrANi gRhItvorazca mArutaH । stimitasyAtatAkSasya sadyo muSNAti jIvitam ॥ 108 ॥
