Astanga Hrudaya
स्रोतोविद्धमतो वैद्यः प्रत्याख्याय प्रसाधयेत्। उद्धृत्य शल्यं यत्नेन सद्यःक्षतविधानतः॥४८॥
hence the physician should first inform the relatives of the person who has injury to srotas, about the incurability and then do treatment by removing the foreign body with all efforts and treat the wound in the same way as treating a recent / fresh wound.
english translation
srotoviddhamato vaidyaH pratyAkhyAya prasAdhayet। uddhRtya zalyaM yatnena sadyaHkSatavidhAnataH॥48॥
