द्वे शब्दबोधने शङ्खौ सिरास्ता एव चाश्रिताः। द्वे शङ्खसन्धिगे तासाम् मूर्ध्नि द्वादश तत्र तु॥३२॥

Out of them two responsible for perception of sound should be avoided in the sankha (temples) also the veins of the same number (sixteen) exist; of them, two situated at the joints of the temples should not be cut in the head there are twelve;

english translation

dve zabdabodhane zaGkhau sirAstA eva cAzritAH। dve zaGkhasandhige tAsAm mUrdhni dvAdaza tatra tu॥32॥
