Astanga Hrudaya
अरोमशासितस्थूलदीर्घत्वैः सविपर्ययैः। सुस्निग्धा मृदवः सूक्ष्मा नैकमूलाः स्थिराः कचाः॥१०७॥
such as aloma (hairless), asita (black), sthula (big, obese) and dirgha (tall) with their opposite. Signs of organs and parts of the body depicting longevity and good health: Hair (on the head) should be smooth, soft, thin with only one root (each hair having its own root) and firm.
english translation
aromazAsitasthUladIrghatvaiH saviparyayaiH। susnigdhA mRdavaH sUkSmA naikamUlAH sthirAH kacAH॥107॥
