Astanga Hrudaya
रसैर्वा जाङ्गलैः शुद्धिवर्जं चास्रोक्तमाचरेत्। असम्पूर्णत्रिमासायाः प्रत्याख़्याय प्रसाधयेत्॥६॥
blood letting should be done without administering purificatory therapies. In women, who have not completed three months of pregnancy and in those who get menstrual flow prematurely, treatment should be done after informing the incurability (of the treatment because of doubt of success).
