Astanga Hrudaya
बलामूलकषायस्य भागाः षट् पयसस्तथा। यवकोलकुलत्थानां दशमूलस्य चैकतः॥४७॥
Bala Taila: Six parts of decoction of roots of bala (Sida cordifolia), same quantity of milk, decoction of Yava (Hordeum vulgare), Kola (Ziziphus jujube), Kulattha (Dolichos biflorus – horse gram) and Dashamula (ten roots) – all these drugs forming one part and one part equal to the quantity of drug of the decoction (i.e. Bala – Sida cordifolia one part, the total of all the above will be 13 parts, viz. 6 of decoction of bala,
