पेयाममद्यपा कल्के साधितां पाञ्चकौलिके। बिल्वादिपञ्चकक्वाथे तिलोद्दालकतण्डुलैः॥११॥
Woman who is not accustomed to wine should drink peya (thin gruel) processed with the paste of panchakola (mixture of Piper longum, roots of Piper longum, Piper chaba, Plumbago zeylanica and Zingiber officinale) or peya processed with decoction of bilwadii panchaka

peyAmamadyapA kalke sAdhitAM pAJcakaulike। bilvAdipaJcakakvAthe tiloddAlakataNDulaiH॥11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमासतुल्यदिनान्येवं पेयादिः पतिते क्रमः। लग़ुरस्नेहलवणो दीपनीययुतो हितः॥१२॥
(mahat panchamula-powder of roots of Aegle marmelos, Clerodendrum phlomidis, Oroxylum indicum, Stereospermum suaveolens and Gmelina arborea) along with broken tila (Sesamum indicum) and uddalaka (a variety of rice Paspalum scrobiculatum); this regimen of drinking of peya etc. should be for that number of days as the number of the months of pregnancy.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptदोषधातुपरिक्लेदशोषार्थं विधिरित्ययम्। स्नेहान्नबस्तयश्चोर्ध्वं बल्यदीपनजीवनाः॥१३॥
The peya which is easily digestible, devoid of fat and salt, and processed with drugs kindling digestion is best suited. These methods are meant to remove the excess moisture present in the dosas and dhatus. Afterwards, the use of fatty foods and enema therapies, which are strengthening, improving digestion and rejuvenating should be adopted.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptसञ्जातसारे महति गर्भे योनिपरिस्रवात्। वृद्धिमप्राप्राप्नुवन् गर्भः कोष्ठे तिष्ठति सस्फुरः॥१४॥
Fetus grown in strength but not grown in size, because of fluid discharge from the vaginal tract, remains inside the abdomen producing throbbing and no enlargement of the abdomen.

This is known as Upavishtaka. By grief, fasting, dryness or excess of fluid discharge from the vaginal tract, vata undergoing aggravation causes emaciation and dryness of the fetus, this is known as Nagodara.
