अथोपस्थितगर्भां तां कृतकौतुकमङ्गलाम्। हस्तस्थपुन्नामफलां स्वभ्यक्तोष्णाम्बुसेचिताम्॥७७॥
Prasuti vidhi: Management of labour: Next , the woman-in-labour should be protected by performance of auspicious rites, made to hold a fruit bearing a masculine name in her hands, anointed with oil and given bath in wam water; should be given a drink of peya (thin gruel) mixed with ghee.
