Astanga Hrudaya
यवमाषातसीकोलकुलत्थान् प्रसृतोन्मितान् । वहे विपाच्य तोयस्य द्रोणशेषेण तेन च ॥ ५६ ॥
To these, add exactly one prasṛta (approx. 96g, though alternative readings state larger bulk measures like prastha) each of yava (barley), māṣa (black gram), atasī (linseed), kola (jujube), and kulattha (horse gram). Boil this entire combination of herbs and grains in one vāha (four droṇa, approx. 49.15 liters) of water until the liquid is reduced to one droṇa (approx. 12.28 liters), and then filter the decoction.
