तृष्णामूर्छामदार्तस्य कुर्यादामरणात्क्रियाम् । रक्तपित्तातिसारघ्नीं तस्याशु प्राणरक्षणीम् ॥ ३५ ॥

For a patient afflicted with intense thirst (tṛṣṇā), fainting (mūrchā), and severe intoxication/toxicity (mada), the physician must continuously administer life-saving therapies right up until the moment of death (ā-maraṇāt). These measures should specifically consist of treatments that cure bleeding disorders (rakta-pitta) and severe diarrhea (atisāra), as they quickly protect and preserve the patient's vital life-force (prāṇa-rakṣaṇīm).
