राजवृक्षोऽधिकं पथ्यो मृदुर्मधुरशीतलः । बाले वृद्धे क्षते क्षीणे सुकुमारे च मानवे ॥ ३१ ॥
rājavṛkṣa (caturangula – Cassia fistula) is highly beneficial and suitable, since it is mild (soft in action), sweet in taste, and cold in potency; due to its mild and completely harmless nature, caturangula (Cassia fistula) is especially administered to children,

rAjavRkSo'dhikaM pathyo mRdurmadhurazItalaH । bAle vRddhe kSate kSINe sukumAre ca mAnave ॥ 31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयोज्यो मृद्वनपायित्वाद्विशेषाच्चतुरङ्गुलः । फलकाले परिणतं फलं तस्य समाहरेत् ॥ ३२ ॥
the elderly, those with chest injuries (urakṣata), the emaciated, and individuals of tender constitution. During the fruiting season, one should collect the fully ripe fruits of that tree (rājavṛkṣa – Cassia fistula).

yojyo mRdvanapAyitvAdvizeSAccaturaGgulaH । phalakAle pariNataM phalaM tasya samAharet ॥ 32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेषां गुणवतां भारं सिकतासु विनिक्षिपेत् । सप्तरात्रात् समुद्धृत्य शोषयेद्दातपे ततः ॥ ३३ ॥
Those fruits which are heavy and endowed with excellent qualities should be buried in a heap of sand. After seven nights, they should be dug out and dried thoroughly in the sun.

teSAM guNavatAM bhAraM sikatAsu vinikSipet । saptarAtrAt samuddhRtya zoSayeddAtape tataH ॥ 33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो मज्जानमुद्धृत्य शुचौ पात्रे निधापयेत् । द्राक्षारसेन तं दद्याद्दाहोदावर्तपीडिते ॥ ३४ ॥
Thereafter, the fruit pulp (marrow) should be extracted from the pods and preserved in a clean container for future use. That marrow (of Cassia fistula) should be administered along with drākṣārasa (juice of Vitis vinifera) to patients suffering from burning sensation (dāha) and upward movement of Vata (udāvarta).
