अतीसारो हि भूयिष्ठं भवत्यामाशयान्वयः । हत्वाऽग्निं वातजेऽप्यस्मात्प्राक् तस्मिल्लङ्घनं हितम् ॥ १ ॥
Atisara (diarrhea) is born especially form the amasaya (stomach) first, destroying the digestive fire, hence langhana (fasting) is ideal (at the commencement of the disease,) even in the Vata type of Atisara.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptशूलानाहप्रसेकार्तं वामयेदतिसारिणम् । दोषाः सन्निचिता ये च विदग्धाहारमूर्छिताः ॥ २ ॥
The patient of atisāra – diarrhea, śūla – who is suffering from pain in the abdomen, ānāha – flatulence and praseka – excess of salivation should be made to vomit (by Vamana Panchakarma treatment). Doshas which have increased greatly and associated with burnt out food (due to improper digestion), make for the onset of diarrhea,

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअतीसाराय कल्पन्ते तेषूपेक्षैव भेषजम् । भृशोत्क्लेशप्रवृत्तेषु स्वयमेव चलात्मसु ॥ ३ ॥
hence when the increased doshas are moving out of the body by their own accord, due to natural movement, then the treatment is to neglect them (allow to go out). The patient of amatisara (diarrhea when the doshas are not cooked/ transformed by heat)
