प्राग्भक्तमानुलोम्याय फलाम्लं वा पिबेद्घृतम् । चव्यचित्रकसिद्धं वा यवक्षारगुडान्वितम् ॥ ७२ ॥
Medicated ghee should be consumed processed with sour fruits before meals in order to cause downward movement; or that (ghee) prepared with: cavya – Piper retrofractum, and citraka – Plumbago zeylanica, yavakṣāra – alkali of whole plant of Hordeum vulgare, guḍa – and jaggery;
