पेयायूषरसाद्येषु पलाण्डुः केवलोऽपि वा । स जयत्युल्बणं रक्तं मारुतं च प्रयोजितः ॥ १२१ ॥
Drink, thin gruel, soup, meat soup etc. Allium cepa (onion) or the above ones prepared just with onion when administered. It cures aggravated hemorrhoids associated with vitiated blood afflicted by vata dosha.

वातोल्बणानि प्रायेण भवन्त्यस्रेऽतिनिःसृते । अर्शांसि तस्मादधिकं तज्जये यत्नमाचरेत् ॥ १२२ ॥
When there is severe bleeding in haemorrhoids, it may lead to Vata aggravation. Hence, in case of bleeding hemorrhoids, special efforts should be put to control bleeding and Vata Dosha

दृष्ट्वाऽस्रपित्तं प्रबलमबलौ च कफानिलौ । शीतोपचारः कर्तव्यः सर्वथा तत्प्रशान्तये ॥ १२३ ॥
After observing severe bleeding disorders and weak Kapha and Vata, one should resort to coolant measures always to pacify that condition.

न चेदेवं शमस्तस्य स्निग्धोष्णैस्तर्पयेत्ततः । रसैः कोष्णैश्च सर्पिर्भिरवपीडकयोजितैः ॥ १२४ ॥
If the bleeding hemorrhoids do not heal (na ced evaṃ śamas tasya) by these methods, then the patient should be nourished with unctuous and hot (snigdhoṣṇaiḥ) therapies; using lukewarm meat soups (rasaiḥ koṣṇaiḥ) and medicated ghee administered in the Avapīḍaka manner (in maximum doses at the end of the digestion of meals).
