लघुना पञ्चमूलेन शुण्ठ्या वा साधितं जलम् । वारुणीदधिमण्डं वा धान्याम्लं वा पिबेत्तृषि ॥ ३६ ॥

When there is thirst, water boiled with herbs of laghu pancamula or Zingiber officinale, or sap liquor of Borassus flabellifer (Varuni), thin liquid of curds or fermented water boiled with corns should be administered.
