रसायनं मुख्यतममिन्द्रियाणां प्रसादनम् । जीवनं बृंहणं स्वर्यं शुक्रासृग्दोषनाशनम् ॥ ४६ ॥
This oil serves as an excellent rejuvenator (rasayana), clarity-bestower to the sensory organs (indriya-prasadana), enlivener (jivana), nourishing-stoutener to the tissues (brimhana), and improver of the voice (svarya). It effectively eliminates disorders of the semen (shukra) and ovum/blood (asrik).

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुपिते मार्गसंरोधान् मेदसो वा कफस्य वा । अतिवृद्ध्याऽनिले शस्तं नादौ स्नेहनबृंहणम् ॥ ४७ ॥
When Vata gets aggravated due to the obstruction of its pathways (marga-samrodha) by an excessive increase of either Medas (fat tissue) or Kapha, the administration of lubricating/oleation therapy (snehana) and nourishing/stoutening therapy (brimhana) is not advisable in the initial stage.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकृत्वा तत्राढ्यवातोक्तं वातशोणितिकं ततः । भेषजं स्नेहनं कुर्याद्यच्च रक्तप्रसादनम् ॥ ४८ ॥
In such conditions, the treatments prescribed for Adhyavata (Urustambha / stiffness of the thighs) should be administered first. After that, the standard treatments for Vatasonita (gout) should be adopted, including oleation and therapies that purify and soothe the blood (rakta-prasadana).

hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्राणादिकोपे युगपद्यथोद्दिष्टं यथामयम् । यथासन्नं च भैषज्यं विकल्प्यं स्याद्यथाबलम् ॥ ४९ ॥
When Prana and other divisions of vata are aggravated simultaneously the treatment which are enumerated (chapter 13 of Sutrasthana) appropriate to the disease (present now) and which are nearest (to the aggravated Dosha) should be chosen and done, considering the strength (of the patient and the aggravated Dosha).

prANAdikope yugapadyathoddiSTaM yathAmayam । yathAsannaM ca bhaiSajyaM vikalpyaM syAdyathAbalam ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनीते निरामतां सामे स्वेदलङ्घनपाचनैः । रूक्षैश्चालेपसेकाद्यैः कुर्यात् केवलवातनुत् ॥ ५० ॥
When Vata is sama (associated with Ama/ presenting symptoms of Ama) it should be made Nirama (free of Symptoms of Ama) by treatments such as sudation, fasting and other thinning therapies digestive herbs, application of pastes and pouring medicinal liquids which are dry (non-fatty). These therapies should be doneand then the treatments suitable for Vata alone.
