तथा न पूर्यतेऽस्रेण वस्तिः पूर्णे तु पीडयेत् । मेढ्रान्तः क्षीरिवृक्षाम्बु मूत्रसंशुद्धये ततः ॥ ५६ ॥
so that the urinary bladder does not become filled with blood. If blood does happen to accumulate inside, the bladder should be gently squeezed or pressed out, and then a decoction made from the bark of trees with a milky sap (kṣīri vṛkṣa) should be introduced through the urethra into the penis to cleanse and purify the urine.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुर्याद्गुडस्य सौहित्यं मध्वाज्याक्तव्रणः पिबेत् । द्वौ कालौ सघृतां कोष्णां यवागूं मूत्रशोधनैः ॥ ५७ ॥
Following this, the surgical wound should be smeared with a mixture of honey and ghee (madhu and ghṛta). The patient should be given a satisfying amount of jaggery to eat, and twice a day, he should drink a warm, thin gruel (yavāgū) processed with urine-cleansing herbs and enriched with ghee.

For the first three days, this gruel diet should be followed. For the next ten days, he should consume small quantities of boiled rice mixed with milk and a generous amount of jaggery. Beyond that period, he may eat rice along with sour fruit juices and the meat soup of wild animals native to arid regions (jāṅgala rasas).

The surgical wound should be washed thoroughly with a decoction made from the bark of trees yielding a milky sap (kṣīri vṛkṣa). Afterward, a medicinal paste prepared from prapauṇḍarīka – Nelumbo nucifera, mañjiṣṭhā – Rubia cordifolia, yaṣṭyāhva – Glycyrrhiza glabra, and nayanauṣadha – Symplocos crataegoides should be applied over it.
