तालीशपत्रचविकामरिचानां पलं पलम् । कृष्णातन्मूलयोर्द्वे द्वे पले शुण्ठीपलत्रयम् ॥ १६ ॥
Take one pala (48 grams) each of tālīśapatra – Abies webbiana, cavikā – Piper retrofractum, and marica – Piper nigrum; two palas (96 grams) each of kṛṣṇā (pippalī) – Piper longum and its root, pippalīmūla; and three palas (144 grams) of śuṇṭhī – Zingiber officinale.

चतुर्जातमुशीरं च कर्षांशं श्लक्ष्णचूर्णितम् । गुडेन वटकान् कृत्वा त्रिगुणेन सदा भजेत् ॥ १७ ॥
To this, add one karṣa (12 grams) each of cāturjāta (twak, elā, patra, and nāgakeśara) and uśīra – Vetiveria zizanioides. Grind everything into a fine powder and roll into pills (vaṭakas) using three times the quantity of jaggery (guḍa). These should be consumed regularly.

मद्ययूषरसारिष्टमस्तुपेयापयोऽनुपः । वातश्लेष्मात्मनां छर्दिग्रहणीपार्श्वहृद्रुजाम् ॥ १८ ॥
The appropriate post-drink vehicles (anupāna) include wine (madya), lentil soup (yūṣa), meat-soup (rasa), ariṣṭa (fermented decoctions), whey (mastu), thin rice gruel (peyā), or milk (paya). This formulation cures vomiting (chardi), malabsorption syndrome (grahaṇī), and pain in the flanks and cardiac region (pārśva-hṛdrujā) caused by aggravated vāta and kapha.

ज्वरश्वयथुपाण्डुत्वगुल्मपानात्ययार्शसाम् । प्रसेकपीनसश्वासकासानां च निवृत्तये ॥ १९ ॥
It is also highly effective in relieving fever (jvara), edema (śvayathu), anemia (pāṇḍu), abdominal tumors (gulma), alcoholism (pānātyaya), hemorrhoids (arśas), excessive salivation (praseka), chronic rhinitis (pīnasa), dyspnea (śvāsa), and cough (kāsa).

अभयां नागरस्थाने दद्यात्तत्रैव विड्ग्रहे । छर्द्यादिषु च पैत्तेषु चतुर्गुणसितान्विताः ॥ २० ॥
If there is severe constipation or obstruction to feces (viḍgraha), abhayā – Terminalia chebula should be substituted in place of nāgara (śuṇṭhī). If vomiting and other symptoms arise from a pitta origin, the pills should instead be prepared by adding four times the quantity of refined sugar (sitā).
