अत्यन्तलघुभिर्मांसैर्जाङ्गलैश्च हिता रसाः । व्याघ्रीपरूषतर्कारीद्राक्षामलकदाडिमैः ॥ ७६ ॥
or it (meat soup) may be processed with Solanum xanthocarpum, Grewia asiatica, Clerodendrum phlomidis, Vitis vinifera, Emblica officinalis and Dadima (Punica granatum);

hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंस्कृताः पिप्पलीशुण्ठीधान्यजीरकसैन्धवैः । सितामधुभ्यां प्रायेण संयुता वा कृताकृताः ॥ ७७ ॥
or with Piper longum, Zingiber officinale, Coriandrum sativum, Cuminum cyminum and rock salt each one may be added with sugar and honey; or it (meat soup) may be used processed (with addition of spices and salt) or unprocessed.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनम्लतक्रसिद्धानि रुच्यानि व्यञ्जनानि च । अच्चान्यनलसम्पन्नान्यनुपानेऽपि योजयेत् ॥ ७८ ॥
Vyanjana (lickable menu prepared from vegetables) processed with non-sour buttermilk, tasty in nature, thin in consistency and clear, and cooked on fire, may be partaken (along with the main food). Even for, Anupana (afterdrink), water boiled and cooled or wine, which ever is accustomed may be prescribed.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतानि क्वथितशीतं च वारि मद्यं च सात्म्यतः । सज्वरं ज्वरमुक्तं वा दिनान्ते भोजयेल्लघु ॥ ७९ ॥
The patient who is having fever or who has been cured of fever, should be asked to take light food at the end of the day, for at that time Slesman (Kapha) undergoes decrease and the heat of the body increases.

tAni kvathitazItaM ca vAri madyaM ca sAtmyataH । sajvaraM jvaramuktaM vA dinAnte bhojayellaghu ॥ 79 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्लेष्मक्षयविवृद्धोष्मा बलवान् अनलस्तदा । यथोचितेऽथवा काले देशसात्म्यानुरोधतः ॥ ८० ॥
Then the digestive fire will be powerful (to digest the food); or the food may be taken at such a time as is appropriate to the habitat and accustomisation.
