पाचयेत्कटुकां पिष्ट्वा कर्परेऽभिनवे शुचौ । निष्पीडितो घृतयुतस्तद्रसो ज्वरदाहजित् ॥ ५९ ॥

Katuka (Picrorhiza kurroa), made into a paste (with water) is cooked by keeping it on a fresh and clean potsherd; after cooking, the juice extracted from it, mixed with ghee, and consumed cures fever and burning sensation.
