विशेषतश् च संघानां संघ धर्मिणां च राज कुलानां द्यूत निमित्तो भेदस् तन् निमित्तो विनाश इत्य् असत् प्रग्रहः पापिष्ठतमो व्यसनानां तन्त्र दौर्बल्याद् इति ॥
It is specially due to gambling that assemblies and royal confederacies possessing the characteristics of assemblies are split into factions, and are consequently destroyed. The reception of what is condemned is the worst of all evils since it causes incapacity to deal with politics.

vizeSataz ca saMghAnAM saMgha dharmiNAM ca rAja kulAnAM dyUta nimitto bhedas tan nimitto vinAza ity asat pragrahaH pApiSThatamo vyasanAnAM tantra daurbalyAd iti ॥
