ते ह्य् अस्य स्व पक्षं पर पक्षं च चिन्तयेयुः ॥
Those ministers shall have to consider all that concerns the parties of both the king and his enemy.
english translation
te hy asya sva pakSaM para pakSaM ca cintayeyuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअकृत आरम्भम् आरब्ध अनुष्ठानम् अनुष्ठित विशेषं नियोग सम्पदं च कर्मणां कुर्युः ॥
They shall also set themselves to start the work that is not yet begun, to complete what has been begun, to improve what has been accomplished, and to enforce strict obedience to orders (niyogasampadam).
english translation
akRta Arambham Arabdha anuSThAnam anuSThita vizeSaM niyoga sampadaM ca karmaNAM kuryuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआसन्नैः सह कर्माणि पश्येत् ॥
He shall supervise works in company with his officers that are near (ásannaih).
english translation
AsannaiH saha karmANi pazyet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनासन्नैः सह पत्त्र सम्प्रेषणेन मन्त्रयेत ॥
and consult by sending writs (patrasampreshanena) those that are (not) near (ásanna).
english translation
anAsannaiH saha pattra sampreSaNena mantrayeta ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइन्द्रस्य हि मन्त्रि परिषद् ऋषीणां सहस्रम् ॥
One thousand sages form Indra's assembly of ministers (mantriparishad).
