अभियोगे गूढ बलैर् घातयेयुः, मदन रस युक्तेन वा पथ्य् अदनेन ॥

abhiyoge gUDha balair ghAtayeyuH, madana rasa yuktena vA pathy adanena ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगृहीत लोप्त्र भारान् आयत गत परिश्रान्तान् प्रस्वपतः प्रहवणेषु योग सुरा मत्तान् वा ग्राहयेयुः ॥
Or on their securing plenty of stolen treasure, the robbers may either be made to eat such food as is mixed with the intoxicating juice of madana plant, or caught hold of either while sleeping with fatigue caused by incessant movements or while under intoxication due to the drinking of medicinal beverage on the occasions of religious festivals.
