पर्वसु च वितर्दिच् छत्र उल्लोपिका हस्त पताकाच् छाग उपहारैश् चैत्य पूजाः कारयेत् ॥
And on festival days, he should perform worship of caityas by presenting offerings such as a parasol, an ullopikā food item, an arm-shaped banner, and goat flesh on a verandah.

parvasu ca vitardic chatra ullopikA hasta patAkAc chAga upahAraiz caitya pUjAH kArayet ॥

In all kinds of dangers from demons, the incantation „we offer thee cooked rice‟' shall be performed.

Such ascetics as are experts in magical arts, and being endowed with supernatural powers, can ward off providential visitations, shall, therefore, be honoured by the king and made to live in his kingdom.
