सकामायां चतुष् पञ्चाशत् पणो दण्डः, स्त्रियास् त्व् अर्ध दण्डः ॥
He who defiles a willing maiden shall pay a fine of 54 panas, while the maiden herself shall pay a fine of half the amount.
english translation
sakAmAyAM catuS paJcAzat paNo daNDaH, striyAs tv ardha daNDaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपर शुल्क अवरुद्धायां हस्त वधः, चतुः शतो वा दण्डः, शुल्क दानं च ॥
When a man impersonates another man who has already paid the nuptial fee to a woman (parasulkopadháyám), he shall have his hand cut off or pay a fine of 400 panas, besides making good the nuptial fee.

para zulka avaruddhAyAM hasta vadhaH, catuH zato vA daNDaH, zulka dAnaM ca ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्त आर्तव प्रजातां वरणाद् ऊर्ध्वम् अलभमानः प्रकृत्य प्राकामी स्यात्, न च पितुर् अवहीनं दद्यात् ॥
No man who has connection with a maiden that has passed seven menses and has not yet succeeded in marrying her, though she has been betrothed to him, shall either be guilty or pay any compensation to her father.
english translation
sapta Artava prajAtAM varaNAd Urdhvam alabhamAnaH prakRtya prAkAmI syAt, na ca pitur avahInaM dadyAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऋतु प्रतिरोधिभिः स्वाम्याद् अपक्रामति ॥
for her father has lost his authority over her in consequence of having deprived her so long of the result of her menses.

Rtu pratirodhibhiH svAmyAd apakrAmati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्रि वर्ष प्रजात आर्तवायास् तुल्यो गन्तुम् अदोषः, ततः परम् अतुल्यो अप्य् अनलंकृतायाः ॥
It is no offence for a man of equal caste and rank to have connection with a maiden who has been unmarried three years after her first menses. Nor is it an offence for a man, even of different caste, to have connection with a maiden who has spent more than three years after her first menses and has no jewellery on her person.
