Arthashastra
शुष्क मत्स्यानाम् उदरेष्व् अग्निम् आधाय वल्लूरे वा वायस उपहारेण वयोभिर् हारयेयुः ॥
A splinter of fire kept in the body of a dried fish may be caused to be carried off by a monkey, or a crow, or any other bird (to the thatched roofs of the houses).
english translation
zuSka matsyAnAm udareSv agnim AdhAya vallUre vA vAyasa upahAreNa vayobhir hArayeyuH ॥
