अथ एकम् अमात्यं निष्पातयेत् ॥
Then ॥ the king ॥ may dismiss one minister.
english translation
atha ekam amAtyaM niSpAtayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस परम् आश्रित्य योग अपसर्प अपरक्त दूष्यान् अशक्तिमतः स्तेन आटविकान् उभय उपघातकान् वा परस्य उपहरेत् ॥
taking with him a band of spies, disaffected people, traitors, brave thieves, and wild tribes who make no distinction between a friend and a foe.
english translation
sa param Azritya yoga apasarpa aparakta dUSyAn azaktimataH stena ATavikAn ubhaya upaghAtakAn vA parasya upaharet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआप्त भाव उपगतः प्रवीर पुरुष उपघातम् अस्य उपहरेद् अन्त पालम् आटविकं दण्ड चारिणं वा "दृढम् असौ च असौ च ते शत्रुणा संधत्ते" इति ॥
Having secured the good graces of the enemy, the minister may propose to him the destruction of his officers, such as the boundary-guard, wild chief, and commander of his army, telling him: "These and other persons are in concert with your enemy."

Apta bhAva upagataH pravIra puruSa upaghAtam asya upahared anta pAlam ATavikaM daNDa cAriNaM vA "dRDham asau ca asau ca te zatruNA saMdhatte" iti ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ पश्चाद् अभित्यक्त शासनैर् एनान् घातयेत् ॥
Then these persons may be put to death under the unequivocal orders of the enemy.
english translation
atha pazcAd abhityakta zAsanair enAn ghAtayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदण्ड बल व्यवहारेण वा शत्रुम् उद्योज्य घातयेत् ॥
Or , through the use of force, an army, or strategy, one should incite and then kill the enemy.

daNDa bala vyavahAreNa vA zatrum udyojya ghAtayet ॥
