पुरुष विप्रकाराद् वा स्त्री चेन् मोक्षम् इच्छेन् न अस्यै यथा गृहीतं दद्यात् ॥
If a woman, under the apprehension of danger from her husband, desires divorce, she shall forfeit her claim to her property;

puruSa viprakArAd vA strI cen mokSam icchen na asyai yathA gRhItaM dadyAt ॥
