Arthashastra
स्त्री विप्रकाराद् वा पुरुषश् चेन् मोक्षम् इच्छेद् यथा गृहीतम् अस्यै दद्यात् ॥
If a man, apprehending danger from his wife desires divorce (mokshamichhet), he shall return to her whatever she was given (on the occasion of her marriage).
english translation
strI viprakArAd vA puruSaz cen mokSam icched yathA gRhItam asyai dadyAt ॥
