विवाद पदेषु च एषां यावन्तः पणा दण्डास् तावती रात्रीः क्षपण अभिषेक अग्नि कार्य महा कच्छ वर्धनानि राज्ञश् चरेयुः ॥
Whenever hermits, etc., have to pay any fines, they may, in the name of the king, perform penance, oblation to gods, fireworship, or the ritual called Mahákachchhavardhana for as many nights as the number of panas of their fines.
