त्रि रत्र उपोषितः पुष्येण श्व मार्जार उलूक वागुलीनां दक्षिणानि वामानि च अक्षीणि द्विधा चूर्णं कारयेत् ॥
Having fasted for three nights and having afterwards pulled out on the day of the star of Pushya both the right and the left eyes of a dog, a cat, an owl, and a váguli (?), one should reduce them to two kinds of powder.
english translation
tri ratra upoSitaH puSyeNa zva mArjAra ulUka vAgulInAM dakSiNAni vAmAni ca akSINi dvidhA cUrNaM kArayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो यथा स्वम् अभ्यक्त अक्षो नष्टच् छाया रूपश् चरति ॥
Then having anointed one's own eyes with this ointment as usual, one can walk invisible to others.
english translation
tato yathA svam abhyakta akSo naSTac chAyA rUpaz carati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्रि रात्र उपोषितः पुष्येण पुरुष घातिनः काण्डकस्य शलाकाम् अञ्जनीं च कारयेत् ॥
Having fasted for three nights, one should, on the day of the star of Pushya, prepare a round-headed pin (saláká) from the branch of purushagháti (punnága tree).
english translation
tri rAtra upoSitaH puSyeNa puruSa ghAtinaH kANDakasya zalAkAm aJjanIM ca kArayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो अन्यतमेन अक्षि चूर्णेन अभ्यक्त अक्षो नष्टच् छाया रूपश् चरति ॥
Then having filled with ointment (anjana) the skull of any of the animals which roam at nights, and having inserted that skull in the organ of procreation of a dead woman, one should burn it.
